A. We have 45 units in the main building (34 one bedroom units and 11 two bedroom units).
A. A one bedroom unit in Phase I is approx. 610 sq.ft. A two bedroom unit in Phase I is approx. 910 sq.ft.
A. No. You have to furnish your own unit.
A. Yes. There is a fridge and stove.
A. No. All of our units in both Phase I and II have spacious walk-in showers equiped with saftey bars.
A. The units in Phase I have in-floor radiant heat, with each room in the apartment having its own thermostat.
A. Yes. All units in Phase I & II are air conditioned controled by you.
A. Yes. Each apartment has extra wide entrances to the unit, to the bathroom(s) and to the kitchen areas. Additionally, all common areas, laundry facilities, hallways, dining room and all service areas are designed for easy accessibility. With access to the elevators, any mobility challenged residents can readily use any area in the entire facility.
A. Each apartment has an 8'x4' storage room.
A. Sorry, we have a no pet policy.
A. Phase I
A. Yes. We base our cost on $30.50/hour or a portion of that hour. If for example you require assistance from our Health Care staff for 5 minutes, we charge $3 for that service; 10 minutes will cost $5 and so on. Medication delivery is capped at $3/day. For additional information on Health Service charges, please see the Supplemental Service Rates on the Health Care tab of this website.
A. No. Maintenance that has to do with the operation of the building is done at no cost to you.
A. Guest meal tickets are $15.
A. Yes. Heat and hydro are included in the rent.
A. We serve one noon hour meal in the dining room. Residents are responsible for their breakfast and supper.
A. Included in your rent is weekly housekeeping services and linen service.
A. We have laundry rooms on the first and second floor. Each room is equiped with 3 washers and 3 dryers, basin, folding counters, an ironing board and iron, clothes rack.
A. No. The use of the laundry facility is included in your rent.
A. Yes we have many. Our full-time Recreation Director is dedicated to providing our residents with 3 to 4 activities a day, from fitness classes to musical entertainment.
A. Yes, 4 times a week. Walking programs, friends and fitness, gentle stretching and circiut training. In addition to the traditional fitness classes, team games such as bocce, washer toss and curling are also part of the fun and fitness program.
A. At the moment we do not offer wi-fi to our residents.
A. Yes we do have a games room. Our residents gather throughout the day to play a game of pool, darts, watch TV, play games and cards.
A. We provide one parking spot per resident.
A. Yes. Our housekeeping staff can take care of that for you. An additional cost will be assessed for this service.
A. We have an Licenced Practical Nurse on site 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm. We have a Continuing Care Assistant on site 7 days a week from 4pm to midnight. We have Commissionaires who are First Aid trained on site 7 days a week from midnight to 8am.
A. We provide a range of services; medication management & delivery, personal care, compassionate care, foot care, dietary monitoring to name a few.
A. Yes we have a maintenance person onsite from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm and on-call 24/7.
A. Yes the Ulimate Hair Studio is on site. Services are available on an appointment basis.
A. Yes there is a message therapist on site. Services are available on an appointment basis.
A. The entrance to the facility is electronically supervised and in addition, a security service member is on duty after business hours, 7 days a week.
